Mission Hills Country Club engaged SixTwentyOne as their club architect starting in 2023 with a vision of revitalizing and modernizing the historic Clubhouse and grounds. Initial work was spread across two phases in 2023/24 consisting of work both in and outside of the clubhouse. Phase 1 involved a 10,000 SF interior remodel of the historic clubhouse, with new finishes space planning, decorative lighting and furniture seamlessly blending old and new elements.

Phase 2 encompassed 25,000 SF of upgrades, repairs and additions, including a revamped clubroom/terrace, new golf simulators, pro shop, pool bathrooms, fitness center, childcare, a new cart barn, and racquets and maintenance spaces. A new covered patio expands dining outside, providing members a space to enjoy the outdoors in an elevated, controlled and protected setting.

 

Phase 3 of the project is ongoing, and includes a golf course maintenance facility, and tennis pro shop. SixTwentyOne has stepped Mission Hills Country Club through each step of the process, acting as Project Manager, Project Architect, designer, and overseeing all consultants, schedules, and budgets, all while maintaining a standard of excellence that a club like MHCC demands.
