SixTwentyOne is working with an artist and filmmaker to create a rural escape on the prairie of East-Central Kansas.  The homeowner challenged the design team to create a home that lives in concert with the site, can function primarily off-grid, and takes full advantage of the panoramic views.  Inspired by the abandoned barn structures that pepper the surrounding landscape, the home takes on a comfortable but polished agrarian aesthetic.  More to come…
