The Tall house is a home designed to be both compact and spacious.  The primary desire for the owner was that the house had an open floor plan with high ceiling and ample daylight.   An in-law suite accessible from a private outdoor entrance ensures that the home will grow and age gracefully right along with the family. The exterior of the home takes cues from the Kansas City neighborhood’s historic homes.   A modest palette of shake cedar shingles, a limestone base and deep communal front porch all tie the home to its neighbors.
